The MLB, NBA, NHL, and soon the NFL, have made it clear their priority is to make me feel like a racist.  This is akin to making the statement that pedophiles exists, then turning around and calling all people pedophiles.  The idea that out of the sum whole of police officers there are a few bad apples, but to punish the whole lot and call them all bad is collective punishment, which not only is non-American, but is actually a war crime.

The notion of one student putting gum on the desk means none of the kids can chew gum has been preached to everyone since grade school.  Speaking of school, if we use the mob justification then because there are a few bad teachers we should defund all of them.

Or even the mantra of the “Peaceful protesters” that “All Cops Are Bad”, based on a few bad eggs could be turned around and stated “All Protesters Are Bad” because of the few that are rioting.

Their logic doesn’t add up, and sadly most are not even allowed to respond to their outrageous claims without the threat of being targeted by the mob.

Which leads me to my biggest question over the past few months. Where are the politicians that are sworn to uphold the constitution and protect their citizens from all threats foreign and domestic?  Recently in the past few weeks there have been a handful of Conservatives that are finally speaking loud enough to be heard, but sadly a few is not enough.  We are on the Precipice of freedom right now.  The mob, and local leaders have taken your freedoms in clenched fists and told the people “No”.  They have told the silent majority that right now their rights don’t matter.

In the Comic book for Civil War, Captain America makes a statement, and I wish they had let him say it in the movie version, but it goes like this:

“Doesn’t matter what the press says. Doesn’t matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn’t matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — ‘No, you move.'”

How do we have Unity?  Maybe start by taking a stand and not viewing everyone else as the enemy. But instead planting our self by the River of Truth and telling the whole world “No, You Move”
